Eating Out
Falmouth has an enviable variety of restaurants catering for all food tastes and requirements. offer anything from South African and Caribbean to Japanese and Vegan. There are harbourside fish restaurants, curry houses, Italian and many dog-friendly restaurants and pubs. It's a good idea to book a table in advance as many of these establisments are extremely popular.
Pubs
The Trelowarren Arms is less than a mile from Pendra Loweth Holiday Village. This dog-friendly local sits in the 'proper Cornish village' of Budock. It has a lovely outdoor dining deck for alfresco eating.
The Red Lion in Mawnan Smith is also dog-friendly. This family run and family friendly pub restaurant has been serving the community for hundreds of years.


Walks
For starters there is a 1.6 mile off-roads walk to Maenporth Beach from Pendra Loweth, and when you get there you can also try the coastal path, with its stunning views. Try the picturesque Budock Water and Lakes walk or the Falmouth to Pendennis Castle walk. Gardens
Trebah Garden in Mawnan Smith is a sub-tropical Cornish garden, with four miles of footpaths that wind through the amazing exotic planting. They even have their own private beach.
The National Trust is well represented here as well, with Glendurgan Garden, (also in Mawnan Smith) and Trelissic, near Truro.
